Person-centred approach

This forms the foundation of my approach to counselling. My aim is to create a supportive and empathic space for you to explore and develop your potential for growth and self-actualisation.

CBT techniques

In cognitive behavioural therapy, we will focus on core beliefs, cognitive restructuring and additional tools to enhance your wellbeing through identifying and challenging negative/unhelpful thoughts.

Schema therapy

Schemas are longstanding themes/beliefs about one's self, others and the world. In schema therapy, we focus on understanding and changing maladaptive behaviors which develop early in life.

DBT techniques

Combining elements of CBT and mindfulness, dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) will provide you with helpful tools to manage emotions, tolerate distress, develop healthier relationships and increase self-acceptance.
